6006g

I guess this model is not really popular. It seems to be in every AD shop in HK right now. Any reason why?

Honestly nothing from Patek not named aqua/nauti is all that popular with the masses right now. I think it’s a really cool piece myself.

Most people will look for sth more classic and less busy than the 6006G if they are in the market for a Calatrava at all...

I prefer its non-date predecessor 5000G, a simple little beauty also w 240 movement.

It’s a watch that on first glance is very cool and a nice funky alternative to a more serious calatrava. It wears nice, I’ve tried it on several times. In the end, the dial was just a bit busy for me and the hands bugged me (skelotonized , minute hand should be a little longer IMO)

I've tried it on and I am fan...hard to tell from pictures but the dial is really cool in person with its different textures.

I have a 5296 and regret not buying a 6006 instead. The 6006 is the young mans calatrava. Wish I had one but not willing to take a bath On my 5296. Used prices of the 6006 are holding strong at around 24k
