Thanks Ash! Your PT44 was the original inspiration to jump to the white. Love yours too.

Looks awesome.

I remember reading about two versions of this watch, one having the vertical brushed pattern on the ceramic bezel and the other not so much. Is this really the case? If so, which ones have the brushed pattern, earlier or later models?

The later versions have the vertical lines - forgot which year this started though.

I believe it came in on the I series production onwards.
Have also seen comments that replacements come with the vertical lines as well so may now be some pre I series with them as well.
Am sure someone will confirm.

That sounds about right. I have 3 early H series with the "rain drop" brush and an I series CE 44mm with the straight line brush.

My 44mm PT is at APSC right now and they cant refinish an old bezel so they replace and I think the cost was right around $2500. Not worth it in my opinion so just left the old bezel.

Good to know. Is the off white/whiter hue on the dial related to the bezel change?

Thanks, my friend! I shielded my eyes for too long! Love many of the AP offerings.

Indeed always loved the 44s and the recent iterations have been first class.
