Talking Watches: With Morgan King

For those who haven't seen Hodinkee's latest segment of Talking Watches, this week's episode unparalleled. I highly suggest giving it a watch.

Morgan is not only an all around fantastic guy, but is as passionate and enthusiastic about watch collecting as they come. Privileged to call him a friend!

His collection is unreal. Heck, just his blueberry GMT insert collection is worth several times my entire watch collection.

I have had a few minor dealings with Morgan - Great Guy. If vintage ever needs an Ambassador ....

Great interview, and a mind-blowing collection. (Yes, I always wondered what happened to that police auction SD. I don't think that thread was ever concluded.)

What I especially liked is Morgan's love for all watches, Heuers, Breitlings, even Swatches. No Rolex snobbery here. A true watch lover. Thanks for sharing.

All that in only 6 years time.......wow. That must have been a full time 24/7 job to amass a collection like that in such a short period of time......JUST AWESOME!

Really fun episode. I wish it wasn't so short though. Those Monaco's are beautiful.

Agreed and to the resources here and on VRF (many of the same great people of course!). And you are an inspiration to many collectors on both!.

How are you feeling about those auction results? Is there a top? Are we there... seems like the climb will never end.
