Those are Martin's pictures. His pictures are beautiful and in fact it was his pictures led me to by the 5524G

It’s a great piece! Owned it in the past, and may reacquire at some point. If you’re expecting a very blue all the time dial, I’d suggest you see the blue dial in person before buying, it’s a very dark blue that looks black most of the time. Beautiful watch either way!

I think my problem was that I bought thinking that the watch was trading about 4K under retail. And I think I bought it at maybe 2k under retail with the AD. So I was cool with loosing 2k if I ever decided to depart with it. So when I heard for the first time that was trading for 35k. I said to myself “ you are gonna die with this watch” but also thought well at least I really love this watch. Later on, a deal came to the table where I could depart from the watch with a lost of 5-6k , which is way better than the current alternative of losing 10-12k.
But if I buy again , I would buy with no fantasies about its price retention, and getting a better discount of course. If it ever cross my path again

Cheers

Martin’s pictures of the 5524g are amazing, but unfortunately for me in real life the watch did not look anywhere near as good.

Is 5524G easy to obtain from UK AD? I understand is not easy in places like Asia generally. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks for the compliments regarding my pictures. Here are a couple more of my RG 5524R. Maybe I can help Patek sell a few more. I put it on the charcoal strap that comes with the 5520P.

The Patek Philippe 5524G Calatrava Pilot Travel Time

Tried it on at the AD and really liked it a lot! Not enough to buy, but it’s a very nice watch.

The way the light plays with the dial on the R is super nice in person

Surely that is not NIB unsealed from Patek.. To me, I prefer not looking for the rock bottom deal as usually to good to be true..
