There was a fake DRSD being sold/resold earlier this year. Search this forum for 'DRSD' and the thread should come up, it was a VERY GOOD fake.

I’m not linking to it (yet). But are your pictures a mix of 2 different listings?

I ask because 2 of your photos go with a DRSD in the listing I saw but the other pictures are not in that listing?

BTW - not accusing you of anything. You may have come across a listing where the seller stole photo’s from another listing.

Its a correct mk4 dial, I have Some doubts About the caseback, Rolex is written around the caseback, this was in the 5.1-5.2 serial nummer range, this brings to mind, if the caseback isnt correct probably the case is also not correct.
Be extra carefull and check the case very well...

No that's not it but I just saw it on ebay and your right some of the pics do look the same. That's a pretty big flag

Yeah, there was another one from that listing that was also lifted. This seems to be some sort of scam so I'm stating away, I also reported it to ebay. The seller hasnt answered any of my questions either. The pics I sent were from another listing

I cant post links but its seller trout903 on ebay. He also says he cant send additional pics so it's got to be some type scam or hacked account. I have reported it to ebay.

I searched his uid on eBay.

Guys, this trout903 appears to have stolen photos from another eBay listing.

This is the suspect listing below - I have reported it but auction ends in just a few hours so the more reports the better.

That isn’t the case on fraudulent listings. I’ve made them before. It’s not the same as reporting a replica.

The case here is a bit complex. You should be able to decipher the potential scam by looking at the two listings. But here is my assessment.

There are 2 listings by 2 different sellers (one in Georgia; one in Louisiana) sharing some of the same pictures of a 1665 (but having other pictures of different watches).

That is suspected fraud worth reporting. No worries if you’re unsure. The fraudulent one has ended anyway.

Thanks for verifying. I’m guessing the OP’s report plus mine and others got eBay’s attention.

I don’t usually care about killing fake listings - normally care more about killing listings with fake watches.

Glad it got deleted.

Glad you started the thread.

It certainly took a left turn - originally you wanted to know if it was a sketchy watch. But when I sought the listing you saw, I found the other listing from which the photo’s were stolen.

From there it was apparent a different type of scam was underway.
