AP in India - a pleasant surprise!

So as some of you may know, I've been grappling with the idea of whether to go 37mm, 39mm or 41mm with the RO. Never had the opportunity to get a feel for all 3 sizes at the same time. I have a 7 inch wrist, but it's thick as supposed to wide, which makes it necessary to see things in the metal.

Anyway, I found myself in Delhi with few hours to kill and saw that AP has a dealer here (and AD called Kapoor Watch Co). I called in ahead and the guy at there office said they didn't have much at all but I was welcome to come in and have a look. I was bored and decided to go anyway and maybe try an offshore or two on.

But man, was I surprised. While stainless steel was absent (besides the standard offshore) they had some PM piece from every case size, which is exactly what I needed.
I found that I really, really liked the way the 37mm sat on my wrist. I t was super comfortable. But let me know what y'all think! Also I have to mention the salesman, Vikas. He was a pleasure to interact with and I highly suggest going through him if you are interested in any of these watches. Again , let me know what you think!

15202ba vs 15400or

2 tone 37mm, the 15202ba, all gold 37mm

I don't like big, clunky watches but man the ghost is one good looking dude.

Gold Jumbo on wrist. A little too much for me in terms of the gold, but the case dimensions are perfection.

15400Or - man this was a heavy watch, and not very comfortable with the strap. I feel it's a bit big, but you guys let me know what you think.

I absolutely hate two tone, but this watch is genuinely stunning. Urgh I love AP.

The others:

I know these aren't what everyone wants in terms of stainless steel, but I hope that you enjoyed this post :) Cheers!

Haha, none unfortunately. I was there purely to get an idea of sizing. Will most likely end up going for a 37mm white dial, or look for a 39mm dual time on the Gray market. I still prefer the look of steel to PM.

Nice collection this AD has. I would go at least 39 mm. Good luck with the SS hunt.

Thanks! I think so too, with regards to 39mm. But I'm not paying 45k for a jumbo! So I guess either 39mm chrono, 15300 or the dual time!

Thanks for the post, a lot of fun to see.

I think a mint 15300st is the one for you, perfect proportions, uncluttered dial vs dual time with second hand and screw down crown vs 15202st.

I would agree. I only wish the white dial 15300 wasn't so matte. But still a beautiful watch.

Of course, a personal preference but the dial can be changed. Another member has a thread about changing his dial from black to white.

Most looked a little big on you, go for either 37 or 39 at the largest.

37 or 39 for your wrist size. A few pics had stunning watches yet looked oversized

I would agree. The 39mm was really the best. I think I'm going to start looking either for a dual time or 15300. But I do want to try an SS 15400 as well before I make any final decisions.

Hard to tell from the lighting, but is that a 15202 in white gold with the pink dial?
