Help removing gen2 Vacheron Overseas bracelet

Guys,

I have a gen2 dual time VC overseas on the stock bracelet. I recently got the rubber strap and deployment 2nd hand and wanted to change it up for a little bit.

I removed the 2 obvious visible screws where the bracelet meets the lugs. these screws seem similar to the screws that keep the links together, but slightly larger. Unfortunately nothing happened when i removed the screws. I didnt want to damage the bracelet so I didn't poke inside the threaded area.

I notice there are 2 screws underneath the lugs that are not on the caseback. They do seem like they could be involved, but I figured I'd ask here before I unscrew things willy-nilly.

Any advice please?

Best!
M

Doesn't it have a quick release lever/button between the lugs?

Just use a long pin or spring bar tool to poke out the retaining bar inside. You won't break anything. I've done a few gen2 strap swaps when I had my VC.

Totoro:

Thats the info I was looking for. So its just the 2 visible side screws on the outside of the bracelet and then poke the inside bar through?

I was concerned the 2 screws on the back of the case might come into play. Im glad I didnt try unscrewing them.

Thanks!
