What stock would you buy with the best ten year capital appreciation potential?

I vote Amazon.

Google for me. There are several smaller companies that might have huge relative growth, but among the big boys Google is my choice.

VFIAX as a general passive investment, otherwise something with a consistent dividend track record and a solid balance sheet.

The stock with the best future 10 year growth is one we haven’t heard of yet. It will most likely be a small tech company coming to market as an ipo.
But for known companies with good balance sheet, I vote amazon. It’s retail, cloud, health and with more cash on their balance sheet than most could imagine it can create a new niche that we can’t imagine yet.
A passive etf tracking the s&p 500 will result in a return just below the index due to fees. But the qqq’s has vastly outperformed the s&p if your looking for a passive investment.

I’d rather catch falling k—-ves (sharp edged metal things with handles used for cutting food in the kitchen)

Such a hard question - the VIX seems to be a winner if these polarizing, uncertain, and mercurial times continue through the new “Roaring 20’s”.

money would be far better spent investing in The Boring Company should it ever go public. transportation tunnels are useful on Earth and are proposed to be the technology used to start colonizing mars.(boring bricks built from tunnels dug) and then battery/solar technology from tesla to power everything lol

I'm not looking for a home run, just to do better than most, so I generally stick with the S&P 500 for a long term investment.
