If that's true, then I'm glad I pulled the trigger when I was visiting Tokyo and happened to be near the Ginza Boutique. But the sales person that helped me didn't say anything about it not being available any more. I wouldn't be surprised if they did discontinue it, as they now have three other versions.

I really like the black dial versions: both the rose and white gold cases

Got a chance to see and try on the boutique edition in the NYC boutique yesterday.

Some initial impressions:
- I like it more than I thought I would
- the hands are WG not blue
- I found the RG models too dressy so I gravitated towards the WG/black dial which is more causal. The boutique edition probably sits in between
- Some ppl finds the black dial illegible (I don’t). If that’s the case, the boutique edition may be the answer

Also worth mentioning is that the USD price (ex-tax) is about 5% higher than in HK.

I prefer WG - Black dial. But I'd also take a look at the Patek 5170 wg black dial, which has a more balanced dial imo.(no cut numbers - pet peeve of mine) Pre owned or grey, they can be had for around the same figure I believe.

I recently got to see all 4 1815 chronographs and I change my mind on my initial opinion. The white gold models - boutique edition, and black dial - would be my top two choices. Now I'm wondering which one I should get.
