Would you trade 2 for 1 watch?
Assume I can get a Petek Nautilus stainless 5711, would you trade two hot Rolex stainless watches Skydweller and BLNR both brand new plus some cash between 5-10k for it? What are your pro and con for trading up for the Patek? TIA RTF.

Yes, great deal considering the 5711 sells for around a 100% premium here.

I won't. Recently had a chance to wear a 5711 blue from my friend. The watch is nice but I do not think its worth two good Rolex. I would just save up for that 5711.

If the 5711 is brand new I would do that trade in a heartbeat. I recently acquired a 5167a and a 5711 and both get way more wrist time over my sub, deepsea, datejust, and my daytona 500.

Would you trade 2 for 1 watch?
In a New York minute.
Patek is just an ENTIRELY different level. Period. Doesn’t matter what anyone else says - it’s more of a culminating piece. When you introduce Pateks into collections - other watches that you might not completely LOVE - will begin to collect dust. The only ‘Con’ is that you will want more Pateks...and that can get problematic. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do you already love the 5711? If not, the first experience of a 5711 can be a little underwhelming. If you get it though, the 5711 is a great watch and worth trading in a couple of Rolexes for.

Personally I have no interest in Patek Philippe, so I would not do this trade.
The main con with Patek, is the cost of servicing this brand. |
