Repairing a 6241
Hi All:
I'm new to the world of Rolex, and need some advise about fixing a Rolex 6241 that has seen better days. It needs some replacement parts (new crystal, crown) and a tune up. This is basically like fixing up a classic car for me, so I want the original parts and quality service. Any advise would be more than welcome. |

Repairing a 6241
Hi:
I have a Submariner and sent it to Rolex for repair a couple of years ago. It came back like a brand new watch and I was very pleased with the result. Cost was $832 but I would presume your 6241 would probably be more. Take it to a reputable Rolex dealer who will send it to Rolex for an estimate and then you decide if you want it done. |

Well I have the watch repaired with the actually parts. The only thing I am missing now is a replacement dial.... which is difficult to find.

They sometimes are tough to find. Perhaps wear and enjoy with the old dial - a reminder of the long and adventurous past life of your watch. Just an idea...I've decided to do that with my dial....errrr...face.
