My daily is an Exp II Polar on Nato. Very versatile and flies under the radar.

I wear all of my watches to work and they are nicer than anything my boss has. He is not into watches, I am. Besides, I need something to always remind him that I make more money than he does, haha. I wear my dress watches with suits every day so reserve the Rollies for casual Friday’s and the weekend for beater duty.

Love it! When I grow uo I want to be just like you. So, I'm not the only one who takes great pleasure in annoying / disturbing others... Kind of my passtime. Well, I guess Im not alone.

I work in advertising, but for the music industry. Many days I'm in front of the camera with a guitar in my hands. Most days it's a GMT, but the days in-between it's either a Tudor Black Bay Red or Black Bay 41.

My coworkers have started asking me to show them which "hardware" I'm wearing each day.

What would you do if your boss doesn't wear a watch at all?

I've never once hesitated to wear any of my watches to work, regardless of what my boss wore.

And people at my job noticed--after a while, I got a reputation as the watch guy. My older brother also worked at the company, so I came in with a bit of a reputation to begin with, since he's got a big personality. One of my old bosses asked me for advice when he was getting a watch (ended up with one of the 43mm Carrera chronographs), and another one of my bosses did at times seem a bit jealous (though I didn't have my Rolex at the time, my Speedmaster and Monaco were often worn to work). He never liked me anyway, so wearing a lesser watch than his wasn't going to make him any less inclined to be a tool to me.

how about you guys?
Should I ever get the call from my AD I would like to wear my sub to work, as I’m the boss I know that one of my 30 staff will notice and then everyone will be wanting a raise, difficult call

My boss often notices which watch I have on and comments that he pays me too much... I think a glimpse of a Rolex would send him over the edge :)

Yes. People don’t really notice it anyway, so what’s the big deal!?!?!!

Plus, I wear what I want, when I want, and don’t really care what other people think.

Yep, I wear mine to work every day. I am also in jacket and tie most days so my watch is usually hidden under a shirt cuff.

Wear it, the only one who cares is you - unless you are letting it be known what you are wearing (i.e. telling folks).

My boss doesn't even wear a watch.

Rock this daily.

ETA: I'm in facilities business development. If I'm going to be on site with a bunch of field level technicians (client) I tend to throw the sub on a nato.

Exactly my thinking. Everyone I employ has a nicer, newer car than mine....or so I let them perceive.

I've only worn my GMT II a few times to work but always put it on when I get home. I bought it for my pleasure and not for others to look at .

I don't wear my watches when home or doing workouts. I rotate them all other times including at work.

The only watch I restrict is the DJ w/diamond markers. I don't wear this one to see clients, but I have no problem wearing it to the office otherwise. The other pieces go where I go.

Need clarification. From elbow to wrist or from elbow to rest of the body?

I wear a SubC almost everyday. I have no idea what my bosses wear as I don't work out of the plant and office. I'm sure my customers notice it occasionally, no one mentions it.
