Is it Too Small

I picked up this 80’s military Breitling that I think is really cool. It’s got just the right amount of patina and wear without but isn’t beat up. The problem is it’s only 36mm and my wrist is pushing 8’. My other watches are 40-44mm so this one feels small and I think it looks small. I realize it’s subjective but it’s be nice to have another set (or a dozen) of eyes to help me figure it out. I’m not sure if I want to keep it around if I’m not going to wear it and I don’t know if I want to keep it around for my 8 year old to mature into it.
Thanks!

PS: I’m still not sure the picture does a good job of showing how small it looks on my wrist

Not in my opinion.

It looks great to me.

Very old school.

I wondered where the thread header was going?

No, the watch is not too small.

Your wrist is just too big.

But so what?

Just wear it.

I'm a fan of smaller watches, so I say it's perfect

Haaaaaaaaa!!!!! I think it is a little on the small side for today’s style, but the trend may be reversing as a lot of companies are starting to make smaller pieces. I like vintage and that generally means 36mm (or less). That wears bigger than 36 if you have an 8” wrist.

I think that it looks too small. I also have larger wrists and as much as I like a lot of smaller watches I prefer larger watches.

Diameter seems okay, and the nato with loops is a good idea. Ideally, it would be fairly thin so that it isn’t both small and thick on your bigger wrist.

Don't worry my friend......some like to claim it's the motion of the ocean, not the size of the boat.

EDIT: NVM, I thought you were seeking relationship advice.

I think it would be fine on a regular strap. The nato it's on is makes it look too small, imo.

Considering photos make watch appear larger on wrist than they actually are.....................yeah, may be too small in reality.

Nearly the worst...
To borrow from the old joke...the definition of “is it too small” is the WORST question in answer.

“Is it on?”

(ahem, I cleaned that up a bit)

Thank you all for the feedback. Generally I think you’re all confirming what I feared. I love the watch I just don’t like how it looks on my wrist.
