That will look great.

Did you send the hands to him or did he source them?

Just hands.

14060 is its own animal on dial size.

He’s a Rolex parts account holder.

Ahh, ok. Same goes for the bezel insert, although 5512/5513 inserts are the same OD. It's an odd duck but a great one.

I can't remember if a 5513 or different model acrylic crystal will fit. Might not be too late to ask.

Wanted to go for a different look and feel. Too bad Rolex never offered an on-strap version for the larger DD and DJ.

I also have it on a Horus Miami Blue strap to highlight the second hand

The 116600 insert looks great on a Sub! Love the date wheel as well. Nice work!

Thought this thread might be the place for the question. Does anyone know if a 114270 dial would fit into a 116000 (OP 36)? I've seen the mod where people have put the Explorer hands onto a blue dial 116000 (which looks great), but am wondering if it would be possible to put the 114270 dial and hands in there. Then you'd basically have a 36mm Explorer in a 6-digit case and bracelet.

My BLNR with a 97200 bracelet. The PCL's never grew on me, and I love the Glidelock so much.

then threw it in a boiling pot of grey rit dye for about 20 seconds.

Modified rolex photos please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone ever taken a 16610 and put a black dial from a gold Submariner along with the gold handset?

Basically this in a steel case.

Would be even better with no date but I don’t know where you’d source a gilt no-date dial for a contemporary sub.

I love the creativity on these modifications.
My question is: where do you source these parts? And how do you know if they will even fit your watch? I mean for example how do you get a just a red second hand without buying the other two hands as well? Who is selling their second hand? And do you then sell your old second hand?
