I am asking tge same question to myself lately.

AP is a level higher brand than rolex according to most.

I think 126600 is a bit overpriced for what it is at the moment.

AP you can buy for around $12.5k at the moment. So SD should be around $10k realistically for what it is IMHO.

I love the New SD ,will try in an AP to get a fair comparison to decide which one to choose.

Kepp us posted , good luck :)

Well done, it's a very high quality watch , esp for the price, and was my first really nice watch so I have a soft spot for it.

The only thing I don't like about the diver is it is too heavy. I prefer the fc.

Congrats ! Pleased you got what you were after.

What were the final deciding factors to swing it in the direction of the SD ?

Thanks. My final deciding factor is the size. I have 6.75" wrist. I guess my wrist is not big enough to carry AP Diver.

Rolex, it’ll be a better daily. Save that money for a RO

The diver is more than the 15400 RO and it does make for a great daily too !

Went through the exact same situation....bought the SD43...had it two weeks...got the AP diver....been in the rotation ever since and is my daily. Great versatile piece and not nearly as common. YMMV

Diver. Not even comparable and i should be biased towards the SD given that I own it's slightly older brother.
