I suggest to go in person to try them out, you’ll know when you like from that point

450 for sure. 39mm AP wears like 41mm.

not 15300, but a 39mm.
and not steel, but a 450. i have a 7in wrist, and tend to wear high on the wrist. i can go 39 or 37... don't necessarily have a preference, but i do like the presence of the BA. for ur 6in wrist, however, as commented by others u should stick with the 450. |

that said, the 2mm difference between the 37 and 39 is FAR LESS noticeable than the 2mm between 39 and 41 (15400). a few more comparos for ur viewing pleasure... |

Go 15400, 36/37 mm watches are for females.

My wrist is 6.75 and I have a 15300. It is perfect. Tried on a 15450 in Vegas at the Pallazo (they have one in steel with a white face). The staff was very cool too.
Very nice. Could go either way prefer the 39. The 15400 clearly looks a bit too big on me IMO. I’d probably get a ROO of some sort like the Diver if I wanted a bigger AP. |

I just keep hoping AP dials back to 39mm for the "standard" size in the next iteration. The design wears large, and the 41mm has overtones of an ROO to me. The 15300 is always out there, of course, but the little improvements on the newest generation make it hard to go back.

I think the 15450 will be better for me, but what I do not like is that AP classifies it as female.

Royal Oak 15300 or 15450 for 6.0 "wrist ??
Quote:
Those are resellers and they’ll list the watch multiple ways to reach a wider audience. Men’s, Ladies, Aliens, whoever wants to buy - it’s made for them. AP’s website doesn’t draw a hard line on gender for a particular watch. That said, don’t let the opinions of others sway the decision. IMO the 37mm has incredible proportions and wears like a dream; if it sings to you, go for it!

I suspect the 15300 will be too large for you. I have a similar wrist and opted for the 15450 and it is great. The first two links (one on top and bottom) on the 15300 will likely "flare out" on you and not sit flush on your wrist and will look bad. Although the 15202 is also 39mm the bracelet fits much better on a smaller wrist than the 15300 for some reason. Ideally try both the 450 and 300 and judge accordingly.

I understand this is your opinion, but there is no way this can be universally true, without taking wrist size into consideration.

The 15450 seems much better suited than a 15300 for a man with a 6.0" wrist. |

15450 will fit a 6-6.25inch wrist better.

Then start with 15400 and rule it out first, then work down in size, 15450 regardless should give a good idea of fit at a minimum

Definitely not true, I even saw an interview on YouTube with François-Henry where he mentions that, not just the 15450ST, but even the frosted gold 15450 is NOT specifically targeted towards women and that they’ve had a good amount of men inquiring about that model. FWIW my wrist is around 6.25” and, while I didn’t try the 39mm, the 15400 looked massive on me. I got the 15450 and couldn’t be happier with it, I love it! |
