My lovely wife's first AP...vintage I might add..

Hello!

I don’t know anything about skeleton dials, but I simply love this watch, aesthetically. To me, the level of decoration is superb, in a 33mm case.

This really is a stunning watch ! Would be great to see some more close up shots of the movement finishing. I’m sure your wife will love it.

Looks similar to the JA 15058 range but balance wheel placement and lack of AP branding throws me.

Intresting piece can I have more details OP?

The info on the warranty cards says:
Ref# BA 14389/002
Movement 256479/C-30589

The back case is engraved Audemars Piguet (on one of the pics of the back edge). There is more interesting info engraved through the movement, but I’m having a hard time reading it. It came with b&p. I will certainly do more research on this piece. I acquired it from DavidSW, as two other APs in the past. Had a little chat over this piece. Both agreed on the fact that it was a cool looking vintage piece. I have also sent pics to APSC in Clearwater ( I live 1 hour from them, and have taken my watches there for service before). Still waiting for their reply on service quote.

Thanks for the info, as I said it looked similar to the now discontinued 15058 which is another ornate piece from AP.

it’s a really nice piece and does interest me as I love openworked watches, also it’s great to see a more classic style work from AP as the bulk of the current offerings are more of the engineering/mechanical vibe.

Please keep us update with an info AP have to offer.

For reference, here’s the 15058

And as you can see how even with the JA range the openworked headed more angular and industrial looking in the
26353

And the 26356
