Panerai Pam 111

I have recently bought this watch and cannot help but notice the letting for the word 'Panerai' looks strange, specifically the A and I spacing looks larger than it perhaps should be.

I have read online this could be a tell tale sign of a fake! This watch has come with its box and all paperwork, including service papers. Perhaps I am being overly sceptical.

Opinions would be appreciated...

Camera phone snapshot of mine for you to compare. Mind you mine predates you're and is not a sandwich dial.

Not an expert but I think it's good. Here's the pic of the movement on mine for comparison.

What leads you to believe it's not authentic?

If you have the complete package and service papers them it's authentic.

I worked myself up reading loads of forum threads about fakes Pam 111's. I do have all the stickers and COSC certificate which relate to the movement and the watch number.

Does anyone know what should come back from a service? I have two sets of papers which are hand signed. There is nothing detailing the serial of my watch on the paperwork.

Based off your bad non macro movement photo and that you hopefully have matching papers and service papers, I would suggest it's real.

You might notice that the borders of the three lines of text "line up"... typical of (modern) Panerai. No worries M8
