Pam 4B

Anyone has any thoughts of a Pam4B?
Is it considered vintage?
Thanks.

It's considered vintage I suppose. It's from the 90s if I am not mistaken. They possess a pretty desirable combination of pre-vendome characteristics. They don't necessarily sell for a lot though. You can likely get one at a good price.

They are so popular.

that they are still available new on the Panerai web site. Its a classic style in a wearable size.

We’re talking about 4B or 48? One is unitas based handwound 44mm luminor marina in pvd case while the other is auto 40mm luminor marina.....

One is long discontinued while the others are still available now...

4B, not 48! You can’t buy this PAM new anymore—not for the last 18 or 19 years!

4B. Wow. Cool stuff, but IMO, only for the brave. Fakes are sooo good now, and movement are Unitas or ETA. Very hard to tell real from fakes for the average enthusiast.

Pretty easy to validate a genuine 4B. Just call your local Boutique and mention the serial number plus the BB number on the case. The can check if it's comprehensive.

If you have a specific one in mind, you can hit me up and I can check my database for authenticity as some 4B came with Luminova dial that were swapped for Tritium Dials.
