Opinion wanted 16800

I’m looking for a 16800 as a daily beater and found this one but I’m hesitant. To my eyes the 1 and 0 in 1000 feet seems scraped/damaged and the lugs seems strange. Also the bezel seems to have been faded blue and I’m wondering if it’s been manually bleached somehow due to the bleached spots on the bezel. The watch is dated 1981 and even it’s possible that it has been bleached by the sun I’m feeling suspicious that’s not the case.
Am I being paranoid and over-examining?

Please chime in with comments or suggestions if possible.

Thanks!
