Opinion wanted 16800

Iím looking for a 16800 as a daily beater and found this one but Iím hesitant. To my eyes the 1 and 0 in 1000 feet seems scraped/damaged and the lugs seems strange. Also the bezel seems to have been faded blue and Iím wondering if itís been manually bleached somehow due to the bleached spots on the bezel. The watch is dated 1981 and even itís possible that it has been bleached by the sun Iím feeling suspicious thatís not the case.
Am I being paranoid and over-examining?

Please chime in with comments or suggestions if possible.

Thanks!
