Elgin ain't what it used to be, sadly.

As Blansky noted, Elgin was one of the great American watch companies back in the day.

Nice-looking watch. Certainly a DD tribute. Would have got the attention of WIS when seen from a few meters distance.
The '90s were a complete blank to us.
We were raising little kids and neither of us remember much about the decade that didn't relate to family.

Seems the area I am in Florida now people look at wrists alot more than chicago.maybe because it's a smaller town

Just yesterday I was wondering how many times I had to reload my Windows 3.1 OS from 22 three and a half inch floppy disks to get my laptop working again.

I think everyone in the 80s and 90s made a day date including seiko but none like the Elgin it was pretty spot on.
