Blasphemy! Seriously though, I personally went down the path of several pieces and now just have one. I’m cool with that...for now =)

You only live once, so I buy what and when I want by whatever means necessary. My wife is 20 years younger and I’m certain one night she will end my frivolous purchases by placing a pillow over my face. I am enjoying what time I have left.

Right. And I do believe & agree.
Two things to see & think about it.

One, we live only once. We worked hard, I think we deserve to enjoy a bit of luxury,.. that is if you have extra savings, why not! While alive, you have to enjoy life here on earth because you can’t bring your savings & retirement money when we’re already 6 feet under.

Two, it’s a different story when you’re ‘just’ a collector. You did it because it’s your first love & very happy to what you’re doing. It’s an investment. If you’re tight or whatever,. You can sell it anyway. Then, that way you will become a collector- seller. For me, I think “we” deserved it esp if what makes you happy.

It’s better for me to buy a nice watch over a nice car,.. because you can’t bring your car in your office, meetings, conferences & talking to clients.
But if I have so much extra money,.. I’ll wear a Rolex & a very nice car- that’s matching.
.

Agree. Life is made of choices. If you choose wisely you win. If you make bad choices you lose. It's that simple.

By putting together a strict budget, the house will be paid off in 1.5 years. I also understand that you should live a little bit, but I'm willing to sacrifice for a year in order to live interest free.

Meh, most people have mortgages they can comfortably pay.....$10k isn’t going to do much on a $750k house payment. I’d rather have fun with it. Now if you have a $150k house payment, that’s way different.
