Picked up a nearly new SuperOcean 44 from a gray dealer today...is the warranty transferrable..sorry if this has been asked and answered but a search did not reveal anything.

The warranty follows the watch, if the warranty has been properly activated by a dealer

Folks need to be specific.

If it was truly a "Grey Dealer", then no, you likely do not have a valid warranty because the watch was never sold, retail, through an authorized dealer.

If it was a used/secondary shop, or re-seller, neither of which are Grey Market, it may very well have the rest of its warranty.

It is not the buyer who has a warranty, it is the product, barring any restrictive legal warranty language.

Thanks all.

I did purchase through a grey dealer. I was able to register the watch on the Breitling website as the new owner of the watch. I scanned the QR code on the registration card and was offered an upgrade to the warranty for an additional two years (now warranted through 2026) for a small fee.
