Moser pioneer centre seconds

anyone see the blue fume dial in person? seems like their way of a Nautilus/Aquanaut. would be interested if they drop as much as their other models in the secondary market. really liked mosers when I tried them on a few years ago.

I have seen and would buy one in a second if 40mm. The rubber strap was super supple. I have a moser purity small seconds and love it. The market is not deep for this small brand and I’d assume the worst on resale. I’d seek a material discount from AD and assume further material depreciation on a flip. I’m a fan of this brand, the fume dials are very nice

I wouldn’t count on seeing many available 2nd hand or at much of a discount. They only make <1500 watches per year so how many center second steel pioneers does that encompass?

Plus, IMO, the cost of entry is already really low for what you’re getting.

Resell value for Moser is not that great, so that is why buying a pre-owned specimen is a great option if you want to get into the brand. IMHO, Moser watches are dramatically under-rated.

Short version is, the movement finishing is sublime and on par with what you'd expect at 2 or 3 times the price.

I have the matte croc from the pepertual, but ended up putting it back on the rubber, unlike the 4/5 other watches i own that come with rubber that are now on matte croc or leather straps. Not a big rubber fan, but this one has won me over :)

Beautiful dial in the real, beautiful watch. Close to the perfect watch. ...and “Very Rare”
