IWC Limited Edition Experience

Hello Everyone,

Do you have an opinion on this new release from IWC? The Big Pilot's Watch Annual Calendar Edition "150 Years:" It is limited to 100 pieces.

https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/iw...on-introducing

I like the watch very much but can imagine that many LEs don't hold their value.

Any insight and about which number in a series is more valuable (if it matters) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

that one is nice. I had the big pilot once and loved it. If i got it again i would get the AC version, but that LE is the best dial color that particular watch has ever had so id buy it. I assume resale will be slightly higher than a BP AC, but probably less than or comparable to a regular BP as far as depreciation percent.

The prized most sought after number would be " 88 " Jkwino. You won't have any problem selling or flipping that LE number to a Chinese businessman in Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore or Malaysia.Trust Me!

That is a amazing watch. You will enjoy it forever and never lose a dime. Pass that one on to a family member.

Either would be a plus for resale but 88>8.

Hmmm I thought most IWC limited editions just were engraved “1 of 250 “ or “1 of 500” rather than with individual numbers
