New strap

Hey Guys,

I love my Panerai. Before I got it, I started getting straps.

My daily wearer is an OEM Black Calf on deployant buckle.

Others I have acquired have been hit or miss. My most recent acquisition is a HUGE hit! While I know I won't be able to wear it all the time (In my line of work, I have to wash my hands 50-60 times a day), it will definitely get wrist time. The more I wear it, the more I love it.

Here it is:

I love my new JV Strap. Thanks John! Thanks TRF!

Beautiful strap! Congrats from a fellow poly-"handwasher"!

You just cant go wrong with OEM.

Can I ask you what some of the misses were? Was it build quality? Size? Something else? I am getting into the strap game as well. If it was a particular brand, could you PM me?

Just let it age naturally. Don't rush it and congrats.

Some of the light tans and browns don't work on my particular skin tone. I am Korean and have a yellowish skin tone so some of the straps seem a little washed out on my wrist.

I find that darker straps work better for me but the JV, with it's beautiful croc pattern and lovely texture is just right.

Quiet little laugh to myself.
My skin's so white with faded freckles that black straps look terrible on me!Like I've maybe washed the freckles into fading

Oh to have some skin tone, any skin tone
Then the BCCs and SCCs would be gone.

Beam me up a honey brown JV Scotty
