Which JLC dress watch?
I'm still in the market for a dress watch to go along with my SD4K and DJ. I have narrowed it down to a few JLC watches. Thinking about the Master Control Date or the Reverso Duoface (either medium or large). I do have a skinny wrist at 6.4" at most. Wanted some opinions on which one of these is best...

Master Control Date. The other two, IMHO, do not suit look right on your wrist.

not sure if the medium replaces the grande taille...but given ur 6.4" wrist, i'd recommend looking into the GT.

Reverso Medium looks like a good dress watch fit on your wrist. Iconic, unique, and you get 2 for 1 dials in that piece...and just plain fun flipping the face back and forth.

Reverso medium. MCD is a great watch but the Reverso ticks the dress box with a bold checkmark.

Reverso is a must for a first/only JLC.

Also take a look at the 85the Tribute Edition. It is a tad smaller than the Large, and it also comes with a nice touch of blue. But yeah, to paraphrase WatchSnob, the MCD is a bit "too state school" ;-)

Check out the Reverso Tribute small seconds. It’s on the website, not released yet. Blue dial and Casa strap. Looks quite sharp.
Otherwise, the MUT moon is one of my favs too. |

There is no best. Of the two, I would opt for the Master Control Date. While I like the Reverso models, I find they don't sit well on my wrist. Would you consider a Master Ultra Thin model? I think it is the nicest JLC case shape for a dress watch.

I have both a Master Calendar and MUT Moon. I find the thinner case and bezel of the Master ultra thin series to be of better proportion than the MC series. |

Pinging a three year old thread. I'm considering these exact two watches. Which one did you end up getting? The Lange was/is high on my list but it's certainly a different price level. I am a heavy lean JLC but can't decide which model. I'm interested in the same two as you plus the entire master ultra thins as well. The only non-JLC still in the mix is the Grand Seiko SBGW231.
