It's possible you're seeing a minute misalignment between the bezel insert and the face of the watch. My bezel doesn't lineup PERFECTLY...but I don't notice because my bezel is always turned this-way-and-that.

A picture would help things though.

Yeah, I tried to be "chill" and live with it on my Deepsea. Mine was just so ever very very slightly off center. Just kept kind of annoying me. Finally, I just dumped it off this morning at the Beverly Hills Rolex Service Center to fix since it is still under warranty. Unfortunatley, they have to send it all the way to the Dallas RSC since they said that they don't have all the tools to open it up at the Beverly Hills RSC. They are giving me a two week time estimate.

A good watchmaker should be able to easily fix it for you.

Hmmm it almost looks like your bezel might just be off 1 click. Try spinning it around and going real slow as you reach the 12 o clock position. Hopefully it clicks perfect and if not a decent wtchmaker should be able to fix this for you in just a few minutes.

If the above measure does not work, have someone experienced to remove the bezel and remove the insert and realign. I do it myself on old watches not newer ones.

That's as good as it gets.

If that bothers you...sell the watch.

We are talking about a fraction of a mm and the only thing the bezel is supposed to line up with is where ever the minute hand is on the dial to time something.Yes the bezel does move and its not supposed to be left permanently within a cats whisker of the 12 marker.

Simple to have it realigned if it bothers you though the bezel is really meant to be aligned to the minute hand, which means that for it's real purpose it may not match up exactly anyway depending on where the minute hand is.

It would bother me more on the GMT.

My apologies for reviving this somewhat old thread, I used the search function and found it. I was at an AD recently looking at a SubC and I noticed that the triangle on the bezel was not aligned perfectly with the 12-hr marker. Is that a common occurence on the SubC? If so, is it easy to get fixed (as opposed to the old Sub)? Thanks.

It isn't a "fix" except for personal aesthetics.. As mentioned in the thread, the bezel has no relationship at all to the dial. There is some tolerance in manufacturing as to where it finally ends up.

Rolex has been more than tolerant with those of us who send theirs in. The bezel insert needs to be removed and rotated slightly and reinstalled for those afflicted with alignment anxiety.

Don't hesitate to ask to see another one. It's your money, after all. Better to get one that is perfectly aligned, than get it fixed later.

I see no issues with any pics. I don't think I have a Rolex bezel that is perfectly lined up but the best part is that I am not bothered by it.

Personally I wouldn't request service for something so minimal and would just accept the watch for what it is.

Wear and Enjoy!
