I would keep the Tudor. In my opinion the Black Bay is way cooler than any Breitling.

This is a Rolex/Tudor forum, so I would think the majority will say "don't do it"....include me in that majority.

The Breitling isn't half bad looking on the mesh and the movements are a wash, so, why not? Plus, you'll have the date function (if that matters to you). Especially if the BB doesn't have the bracelet.

Choose which you like best imho. I like my Breitling Super Ocean XPlus 42mm and one of the things I like about the Tudor GranTour is that it is similar to the Breitlings your considering. The advantage the Breitling has is a date which the BBR doesn't! You might try asking the question in the Breitling sub forum.

I vote for the Breitling. Looks more modern and finished IMO

I actually really like the lugs on the new Breitling Superocean Heritage II. I'd make that trade.

I'd go Breitling and put it on a leather strap.

I've had two Tudor BBs and they just didn't quite do it for me. I've never owned but always liked the look of that Breitling. I'm also a fan of leather straps and that is a great model to put on a leather strap. Not so much a fan of it on the mesh bracelet though so I guess depends on how you want to wear it.

Depends which BB. Still think Breitling is getting the short end of the stick on this movement exchange program but the new SuperOcean Heritage IS good looking.

WTH; how'd that show up for me? Definitely a dated email from right about the time the Breitlings came out. Funny I was thinking back about how I was considering them. Guilty as charged!!! Last activity was this month; judging from the lack of incoming thread, I'd guess not.

I prefer the black Bay. That said I have two blue Bezel Black Bays in house and would love to trade for a superocean Heritage II especially in blue or white.
