Still able to buy Batman Oyster brand new?

I know this model has discontinued but I know some grey dealers still able to get it brand new current dated.

How is this possible?

I sold mine few months ago for a good profit but now I'm regretting it

Possible if for some reason an AD has one in stock that hasn't been sold. Then theoretically it could be brand new and have a warranty card with "today's" date.

Personally I find it kind of hard to believe any ads still have this sitting around in the safe but who knows

I’m in a similar situation. I didn’t do it on purpose, but mine is sitting in the safe with stickers still on. I sized it, but never wore it because of the Daytona I was able to get shortly after the BLNR. I’m very tempted to sell it and put the proceeds into a pm Daytona.

Probably why I have never sold or traded one.

They’re “NOS” (New Old Stock) at this point. I also had a never worn fully stickered one from 2018 but sold it to fund my Daytona. Also regret it a little, but it was driving me nuts having a beautiful watch in my hands but couldn’t wear it. At the end of the day, it’s about wearing and enjoying these watches, not keeping them in the safe unworn for the next guy.

Same principle as buying a car. You can buy a brand new car with 2019 plates but the car may have been assembled 2 years ago and sat in a lot unregistered. It only gets a recognisable date when it's registered.

Understand the concept. But how do I source for these brand new but old stocks?

Not sure what you are looking for. I have seen 2019 unworn watches around, but if you are looking for an unregistered watch whereby it will be your name on the card then that's a different ball game. Can't imagine there are many ADs who have sat on them.

Yes I'm looking for one that potentially can have my name on the card

There’s a stickered example for sale on these forums. Don’t know the card status though.
