As the Rolex mania goes to unprecedented heights, I decided to look elsewhere, and got a JLC. I'm glad I did! It's definitely refreshing for my collection which now includes:

-116500LN
-116610LV
-116710BLNR
-a four digit DJ
-Omega Speedmaster

I think the next one I will get is the JLC Master Control Chrono with Sector Dial. Absolutely stunning!!! still love rolex and am hunting a Explorer I.

Congrats! Was considering a JLC myself for a dress watch. I walked into A Lange & Sohne AD and changed my mind.

I hear you. I definitely negotiated a very aggressive price and got a lot of value for the money.

I love JLC. A Reverso is on my short list for next watch.

Nice watch. You have a good collection of Rolex watches. What are you waiting for?

thanks. I am actually waiting for an explorer 1! my old AD rep left, and right now I am in no man's land at my local AD. At this point, if i get an explorer 1, it will be through a grey, i dont want to play the game anymore.

I didn’t think explorer 1 were difficult to obtain. Some grey is good, but lately the market has been demanding insane prices for some pieces.

Its actually going down. Prices have gown down this summer. Batgirl used to be 17k now you can get one for 15k. And even at 15k its not getting sold quick. Though its still high but its going down

That is a handsome watch! Really like how the date in blue matches with the indices on the dial. Congratulations!

Also agree how it can be a refreshing diversion from the current state of Rolex silliness to consider other brands.

I love this watch! If I didn’t already have the PP 5296 sector dial I would have picked up one of these. Enjoy it!
