Sd43 over new BLNR jubilee

Really felt like sharing.

My SD43 came back from RSC after a month.

In the meantime was wearing the BLNR jubilee.

There is something about the SD43’s wrist presence that got felt as soon as it came back on - am a SD43 fanboy out and out.

And this is in no way to cast any negative light on the BLNR - its a great piece on its own but in my eyes the SD43 is something special.

I have the same with my Deepsea Blue versus my other ‘regular sized’ models like Sub, GMT and Milgauss. I like the heavy feeling of the Deepsea on my wrist

In a heart beat

But

The 116710BLNR, that’s a different story. Have both. And they both shine. Wear different, feel different, look different. That’s the beauty of the them

I had SD43 and now BLNR. Still miss the SD43! It feels more of a solid piece on your wrist. BLNR is nice too but more subdued

To the questions of what was wrong - it was running slow as compared to the rolex advertised +\-2 sec per day.

I know that there are a lot of people who tell that 7 seconds out of 86400 in no big deal but my other 2 rolex were running within and it is under warranty- why not try to have it right.

If it still runs slow then will live with it - no issues but just wanted to give it a shot.

My AD called me up in July that he had an SD43 if I wanted it, but I was in the USA for a month so had to pass...

I love mine but I am partial to larger watches as I am 6'7" 270 lbs. I cannot wear anything below 43MM so this one is perfect.

I like and own(ed) them both, but prefer Batman 2.0. in both fit and aesthetics.
But SD 43 is awesome too

Of course not - how could I. The reason i spent 7500 dollars is that I liked it.

Just that I felt the SD43 a wee but more special
