Nothing like supporting the counterfeit market. Maybe they have a sister company that can get you a fake Birkin.

There’s no one conversion kit... that’s no different than rubber b and all those other ones for rolex and AP.

What counterfeit are we talking about? U mean the clasp? U could swap it out. I assume Jin was thinking about the conversion portion

It’s fake. I wouldn’t put a fine watch on a fake bracelet Jin.

I would say, Everest and Rubber B made a product that rolex didn't, up until the Oysterflex. And they never used Rolex branding on their product, only their own. This product is a direct knock off of the leather strap and buckle.

Crazy to even consider it...

If someone spends over $30k for a watch...why even bother with this kind of crap?!? Besides, this will make your GENUINE 5711 look like a fake and ppl will wonder what Frankenstein watch you are wearing...better yet, ppl will think you are the moron wearing a counterfeit watch.

It is not. There is a difference between a rubber b and a knockoff Patek branded junker from China. Rubber b is not putting the brand on the strap, except for Patek whom they make the aquanaut straps for.

The conversion kit does not exist in OEM form - I think its worth it. You can buy aftermarket conversion kits for APs too.

Not planning to use the PP logo stuff.

So if I change my order by $30 whole dollars and get JUST the conversion kit, do I satisfy the trolls? Then I get into a situation where I can't even test whether the damn end links work lol.

Actually with the conversion kit links I can buy a rubber b strap and put it on there. I'm not planning to use the shitty leather strap -_-:

Wow a lot of hate on this one huh

As for looking like a fake...I actually think that is a GREAT idea for travelling. I usually take my grand seiko but maybe this may make me feel more comfortable touting it as a fake :)

Regardless of what parts you use or don’t use you’re supporting these counterfeiters by buying anything from them. Rationalize it anyway you want but it’s a fact.

Jin the only troll here is you posting fake bracelets on the Patek subform. This thread should be deleted as far as I am concerned.

Look, I didn't realize that it was being sold with a deployant and a strap that was infringing on Patek's brand - for that I apologize.

My intentions wasn't to troll but I thought that some wouldn't mind an aftermarket conversion kit to attach a leather or rubber strap to change the look.

Either way, I've contacted a moderator to close this thread since it seems that some of your sensibilities are offended.

Poor Jin, please don’t put ANY Chinese, aftermarket or Japanese or Korean or anything that doesn’t come from PP on your beautiful time pieces. Me thinks Ninja might have led you astray on this one -ha! Now I am glad I couldn’t Sell you my 5167R. You might have put one of these Mickey Mouse straps or worse yet the pretend PP deployments - then Therry might hear about it and revoke my PP magazine subscription. Please repent before it is too late. Your pal james in San Antonio, Tx :-)

Blech. Please don't put that cheap low quality fake crap on a Nautilus.

Also, removing the bracelet on a Nautilus is apparently quite difficult, for good reason it seems! It's to prevent you from fouling it up with stuff like this.

I was bored and wanted to try it on a strap; but then I realize after a while I probably would screw something up, scratch the crap out of the lug holes and not like the result anyway. And then of course public opinion and peer pressure that convinced me of the wrongness of my ways. Even Tom (GB man) got all fired up. Never seen him like that lol

Maybe I'll go get a 5726 on a strap or 5712R or 5980R on strap....la la la
