I only take one. I go to Japan almost annually, which is a very safe country, and I stay with relatives, so leaving watches where I am staying isn't an issue. The problem for me is I would not feel comfortable on a flight with one. Having a nice watch in my check-in luggage is not an option for me. You will likely be separated momentarily from them during the security process. And then on the flight, do you leave your extra watches in your carry on bag, or take the watches with you to the restroom? I would not be comfortable with the former, and the latter would be a pain.

Overall, it's just more trouble than it's worth.

Usually two; one nice one and another for sporting activities and for going into questionable areas that I am unfamiliar.

If staying in hotel 1 watch comes with me and it stays on my wrist 24/7 . If I’m going to be staying with family perhaps 2 as security is less of a concern but I typically find one watch is enough.

Depends on where I'm going and for how long. Most of the time I take just 1, sometimes 2.

2 or 3 mine are insured so why worry. Never had a issue in many many years of doing this and have traveled all over the World.

If staying at a hotel, or moving place to place frequently...2. If going to summer home...all of them. (Much easier now that I’ve consolidated)

Just one! Different one per vacation so when I wear that watch later, it'll remind me of that vacation.

Me too. GPS for running, and 1 for wearing. Where I go helps me decide which one.

For the last 4 years it's always been this (Cornwall, Croatia, Crete & Orlando). It likes the sea & swimming pools.
