Hodinkee

I’ve bought two straps from Hodinkee. The first one received was the wrong size. The second, the wrong color. Their policy is send it back, we’ll review it and get back to you. All very dismissively. Never again will I buy from them.

its a shame... they are getting more and more like a regular crappy sales outlet.

Wasn't always the case.

Im all for them growing but its getting a bit too much with all the sales focus vs being a source of news/information and now also apparently not good CS on top.

So true. They started like a watch site created by a graduate from the Columbia School of Journalism, and now they have become a 42nd Street commercial hustle.

They gave me a long and a short story, I told them I’d just keep the straps and take them as a loss. Screw them. Indeed, they’ve turned into a money making hustle.

I'm surprised you bought from them in the first place. They aren't an AD

Based on your experience you would have been better off if you went with a grey market strap seller...if there was one

That sucks, and thanks for sharing their e-commerce experience - but journalism alone doesn't keep the lights on these days.

Habookie has to generate revenue even at the risk of some bad experiences.

They are. Now we have Paul quoting Paul. Does that make this quote Paul to the second power?

Word is they’re opening a bricks & mortar retail boutique towards the end of the year.
