116613

Did the 116613 have a different dial over time in the blue version? Sunburst blue vs nonsunburst? This is what AD told me. For those that have the 116613 how do you like it for everyday, and for other times wearing it? Casual, or for work, or with a suit. Not sure about it vs SD43

I love it. This is a mid 2018 model. But yes, there have been several dials.

There's no descriptor except for the words Sunburst or Flat dial

I wear mine as a daily. It's a sunburst and a can't miss option

Yes. There was a flat blue dial a while ago.

If you are looking at one produced in the last few years it’ll be sunburst

For me it’s a weekend watch

I also have the SD43. For me this is an everyday watch. And it is a big watch - I’m not tiny - but it’s noticeable when compared to my other 40mm rolex’s

I typically do one week rotations but the bluesy is for weekends rather than week days. Just feels better that way

I got my sunburst bluesy about a month ago and so far I can’t complain. I don’t use it as a daily but every time I put it on, I love it more and more.

Yes the earlier model around 2013/2014 was flat blue, anything after that was sunburst. So if your buying new now from AD it will be sunburst

Others have already answered about the dial differences, but to answer your other questions I love my Bluesy. I had a black Sub first, then I got the Bluesy and had both for a while. I found that I enjoyed the color of the Bluesy much more than the black Sub. For me, I like the pop of color on my wrist and I feel like the Bluesy goes well in any environment or dress.

I think you asked about the Bluesy vs SD43; not sure if you already have the SD or if you are considering both as a new acquisition. If you already have the SD, and you like the Sub-style case, then I think the Bluesy would be an awesome addition. But if you are deciding between the two, then decide if you like a lot of color on your wrist.

I had the latter, sunburst dial. Gorgeous watch, absolutely lovely.

However, I personally grew tired of the two-tone flashy look and got rid of it.
