Definitely a change in the bezel color. Quite visible and prominent.

MK3 is the winner!
Look at how pronounced the white numbers on the bezel are compared to the other 2. Rolex finally got it right after experimenting. Navy Blue/Cherry Red bezel. When do I get the call??????? |

Sheesh! Tbh they are all stunning in a different way. I actually like the pale/lighter version but the darker one is more elegant

mine is mk3,funny,i actually favor mk1 due to its color brighter, when I saw my watch inside AD,the blue looked completely black to me,so I asked a sale lady 'should it be blue and red?',the lady said 'no,it's black and red',her answer scared $$hit out of me,i then had to double check warranty card to confirm reference number is pepsi.then an older sale man made a joke,if it was black and red,it would worth a million $ ahaha

Cool.. interesting observation!
Rolex don't stop until they are perfectly satisfied. Or it is all completely random Can't wait for November when I expect my BLRO Meteorite to arrive |

How does those new whiter numbers compare to say a BLNR or LN?
Btw, I think they might have gone a little too dark on the blue part now. |

As when firing all ceramics even pots vases etc there will be tiny variations in colour especially reds and blue spectrum thats just a fact of firing one batch of hundreds to another batch.Soon on forum we will have so called Mk 3,4.5.6.7.8.9,and 10 WOW.

I just see purple and pink (fuschia; my wife helped me out there), is it just my eyes?
I thought they would be actively trying to get it closer to mid blue and red. |

Interesting. I think option 3 might be very much a possibility.

Cool. Thanks for sharing.
It all comes down to science of the materials. Rolex kept reaching for perfection I believe. No doubt there are variations. There is a reason the BLNR doesn't had color variation but the BLRO does. |

Interesting Chad.
I would’ve guessed yours is an MK1 dial from your 2nd and 3rd pictures, but when you show all three lined up you can definitely see the difference for sure. I suppose it goes back to the ceramic bezel making process and it not being an exact science. Anecdotally in my business (Plastics) we can receive the exact same color pigment batch, matched to a Pantone color and yet when we mold it, parts can look slightly lighter or darker from cycle to cycle ... same dye batch. In our case it comes down to temperature and outside humidity mostly. If off by a few degrees voila ... slightly different color. Perhaps ceramics is similar |

When it was presented to them she said something along the lines of why do they call it Pepsi? He said because it's blue and red like their cans, she said but it's pink and purple. He declined the watch because his wife ruined it! |

Its very interesting to see these colour variations
. I would love to hear the official Rolex story on this ??? It would appear to be Rolex fine tuning the colours, but who knows, maybe we will never know. Maybe its so Rolex can sell enthusiasts x different versions so they can claim to have the true Pepsi GMT coloured version! Its a cool watch whatever bezel version you get!

I think I prefer the Mk2 (not convinced about a Mk3) but the original with the pink and purple might be where the value is in 10 years time.

My BLRO was purchased in Oct 2018 and is the second batch (MK2 variation). I like the 2nd and 3rd from Chad's pictures above however, if Rolex does introduce a Coke GMT, the 3rd darker batches will be too close (IMO). But never know what Rolex is doing, so I don't know.
Hoping for a Coke GMT to complete the trio (BLNR, BLRO, RONR?) ... Could only be wishful thinking on my part lol |

Yep agree Rolex is probably playing around with the colors a bit due to so many people complaining about the pastel colors.
I'm liking the newer darker bezel. Looks much better imho. |

I've got the MK II and actually prefer it to the MK I...for me the WG Pepsi and Mark I 126710 colours looked "purple-ish" and "pink-ish" which is why I never purchased the WG. The MK II bezels, IMHO, are more true to the original deep blue/red.
Regardless, it's a fantastic watch and I couldn't be happier!
