Exactly. I’d love if JLC had more interest too, but they just don’t have the juice.

Seems of the classic trinity, it’s VC that gets less attention.

I actually dont understand why.

So Patek and Vacheron had sexy time and the result was Audemars?

That's a good thing right now as I'm strongly considering an Overseas. I think it's the sleeping giant of the trinity on the public scene.

Agreed. Which VCO you planning to get? You can even get them at discount to retail i think.

My problem was i got hooked on the choco dial. When i decided to pull trigger it was discontinued. So had to source elsewhere and pay a bit of a premium. But it is what it is. The other dials didnt jump at me even though the blue one was truly mesmerizing.

There used to be one called the hour lounge but my bookmark now brings me to the Vacheron website. Seems the forum is now only on instagram.

15k for a blue one? If you can get the blue one at that price new from a AD, truly they are just giving them away.

I recently purchased a VC OS Chrono blue dial.

It has less hype as they spend less on marketing and as such it isn't as popular on social media. Further, sizes are larger, making it less desirable to certain demographics, in particular the Asian market where average wrist size is smaller.

It's right up there with the Royal Oak and Nautilus, it has strong and weak points. The quick change strap system is brilliant. 3 looks can be achieved quickly without tools. The size is perfect for larger wrists. Attention to detail is second to none, the finishing is right up there too. The design is new and innovative, doesn't look dated either (looking at the Nautilus in particular here). On the flip side, some see the Maltese Cross detail in every facet as being overkill. Some don't like the shiny dials etc.

I own a few ROs and a Nautilus. The OS(3) easily rubs shoulders with them and in many way it even surpasses them.

Very difficult to get a discount on the blue or black time date Overseas; possible on the white. You usually have to order the blue or black dial and wait a few weeks to a few months for the watch to arrive.

Hope not! Lol.

We don't need another over valued steel watch.

This one is for those who know...on the DL haha.

Re the Maltese cross: isn't it called recursion (being recursive) when a feature or shape is visible at different levels or heirarchies. I could be wrong.
