I have two different rankings for this list.

Case:
1. WG
2. RG
3. YG

Dial:
1. RG
2. WG
3. YG

If only the WG had a diagonal motif blue dial option......

I did a poll a while back on WG vs RG Olive Dial DD40s.
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=498307
WG won which I would guess might win this poll as well.

Very Close.
I am thinking of getting one myself.

My Favorites in no particular order are:
YG Champagne
YG Silver Diagonal Motif
RG Chocolate
RG Olive
WG Olive

Because I ONLY like WG in Olive (I think Blue looks too much like datejust and
Rhodium strips just a little too vanilla for my liking),
I would Say OVERALL I prefer DD40 on colored metal.
I slightly like RG varieties more than YG so I voted RG.
Most likely I am going to vote RG w/ my wallet, but the wildcard is WG Olive.

WG DD40 Black with Batons for me. If I didn’t already have a RG DDII Ivory dial, I’d vote for the RG DD40.

I wish my wallet could say all of the above. At the present my AD is checking the stock on the following 2 then I'm making my decision:

RG with sundust stripe dial

WG with dark rhodium dial

I've thought long and hard about this. The dial combo makes all the difference and you need to decide what works best for you. Good luck!!

YG followed very closely by WG. I like the WG with the green or blue dial.
