Which watch is the more versatile piece? Hulk LV or Pepsi BLRO

I’m on the list for both and can only afford 1 at this time. Love both watches but leaning BLRO. Both colorful pieces but I feel the Pepsi can be dressed up and down a bit more than the Hulk. Note: I’ve not had the chance to see or try either in the flesh.

How many green shirts do you own vs red or blue? There's your answer

They are completely different watches with different uses.

One is a dive watch, and the other is a dual-time watch. Get the one that would be most useful to you.

BLRO is super versatile, and can definitely be worn in any situation. Not sure you can say the same for a watch with a green dial and bezel.... maybe as a 2nd or 3rd watch it would be fun to wear once in a while.

I am sorry to be negative towards the LV, but I never really "got it" with this model.

C'mon - no one actually uses a Rolex for its intended purpose do they?

If only one. BLRO is the way to go. I've been after one since release without any luck. Waiting patiently.

Both have some color in them , so they may or may not work with your attire ... if you are the green arrow or aquaman or Robin Hood, I know which I would choose

Having owned a hulk in the past I found I only wore it for best.
I’ve just purchased the Pepsi and it’s in a different league.
I’m actually wearing it for work and play and I’m a carpenter.
The big downer for me about the hulk and the newish subs is the ceramic looks so plastic.
The gmt actually looks like ceramic and doesn’t look cheap in my opinion.
Also the jubilee bracelet is so comfortable you don’t realise you are wearing a watch.
The only other watch I had that felt like this was the polar explorer 2.
I’ve always been someone who wants a couple or three watches but now I’m back to one and to be honest to wear anything else would be a compromise.

I have them both and the BLEO is waaaaaay more versatile! Arguably one of the most versatile Rolex

Never tried the LV but own a 116619lb and a blro. I tend to turn to the Sub much more than the GMT. Also briefly owned an LN and also turned to that before GMT. Blro’s only been worn a couple times.

I’m usually dressed very casual (flip flops) and find the GMT just doesn’t go as well for me.

I feel that you can really make the watch and not the other way around, but I would lean to the BLRO based on my lifestyle and preferences.

I prefer the color scheme of the BLRO but the LV can easily be worn as a daily with any attire from my experience.

I mean it depends. Neither one of these with their vivid colors, maxi cases with significant wrist presence is versatile. While I like to look at them as they are impressive watches, I could never actually wear them. Because of the vividness of the colors it’s looks like it is part of some outfit or something.

I equate versatility with modesty in design and am afraid Rolex is moving away from that with the new offerings. I’m afraid if you really want versatility one has to go down to a 5 digit sub, exp i, or perhaps DJ which are a bit more restrained.

If you want 6 digit. The now discontinued black bezel got is the most versatile piece or the BLNR with oyster bracelet. In looking at the black and blue the blue is dark and almost silver at times making it a bit more versatile.
