Jubilee question

Hi guys,

I have been trying to source a jubilee 6251H specifically from 1969 for a while now.

I have picked up a 6251H today, however it is undated. I did a bit of research and I noticed a couple of things which I would like confirmed if possible.

I noticed 6251H's that were sold with GMT's are often undated, I have found a few examples online.

Secondly and perhaps the most puzziling to me is that often sellers offering these undated 6251H will cite the date. How do they know? Am I missing something here? I have added a few pictures of the one I purchased. In the end it was a good price so I just bought it to tide me over. Unless, I did manage to luck out and get a 1969??? :)

First off, this is a Datejust or similar model bracelet. GMTs had 50 end links.

The date is on the other blade of the clasp - the one without the model number.

Have you read my Jubilee bracelet thread? Most of your questions are addressed in that thread.

Hi Springer, thanks for the response. You wouldnt happen to have a link to your jubilee thread? I feel I need to learn a little bit here. Cheers
