Rolex Explorer 14270 Dial
Hi,
I just bought a Rolex 14270 which is apparently from 1994. The number on the Chronometer certificate and the one on the case are matching. What puzzles me is the fact that on the dial it says “Swiss Made” - did Rolex not use Tritium till 1998 and hence the dial should be “T Swiss T”? Is it likely to be a fake? Thanks for some clarification. Best |

Or maybe they changed the dial?

Replaced dial is the likely answer. Does the lime glow?

Yes, the lime glows. So I suppose Rolex did exchange the dial during service? Can it also be a Franken, e.g. old Air King with Explorer Dial?
