Rolex 16030

Hello!

I am new to this forum and am totally smitten by a 16030 (pictures below). I need help determining if this dial/bezel configuration exists? Or am I looking at a serviced or recon dial?

I would also like to ask if the different patina of the lume plots and hands should raise concern about the authenticity of the entire watch?

The info the seller gave:
Maker: Rolex
Model: Datejust
Reference: 16030
Year: 1984
Material: Stainless steel
Dimensions: 36 mm diameter; 13 mm thickness
Case: Stainless steel w/ engine turned bezel
Movement: Caliber 3035 automatic-winding movement
Bracelet: Rolex Jubilee bracelet reference 62510H With 555 endlinks
Lug Width: 20 mm

Thanks!

Your engine-turned bezel is appropriate for a 16030 and the dial appears period-correct for 1984. The dial does not appear to be reconditioned, but I can't speak with authority on the subject. Whether that is the original dial to your watch, you will probably never know. Dial swapping on Datejusts were a matter of routine back in the day. I wouldn't worry about it and wear it in good health. Below is my 16013 from 1982 with a dial similar, but not identical, to yours.

I can’t really see any discolored lume dots. But when you find brown ones on one side, and normal on the other, then you’re likely seeing moisture exposure.

Your DJ looks similar to others from that era including mine.
