Just Announced Glashutte SeaQ Chrono

I have been waiting for Glashutte to do more with the SeaQ line, a GMT perhaps? I was not expecting a chrono. I love the pano date and although I do not need a chronograph, this looks interesting.

https://www.glashuette-original.com/...7-23-02-81-36/

43mm but almost 17mm thick. Will still want to try on especially on that blue rubber since I already have the grey synthetic.

That’s a beautiful looking reference Brian. Looks at those chamfers too

I agreee, it’s too bad about the thickness.

Edit: for those who you who don’t bother clicking on the link, you should. GO has a very user friendly website

It's gorgeous. One of the nicest watches released this year IMHO.

That's a beauty. Fits my wrist, not my wallet.

Just amazes me that even today, with all the technology, more company's can't make thin chronos. Nobody wants a 17mm thick watch! Holy poop

A healthy portion of that measurement is the crystal in this case. I do agree though. 17mm is massive.

Nice layout but too thick for the cost. Should have went titanium to offset the heft.

I really like it and looking forward to trying it on as soon as I can drive the 300+ miles to the nearest GO store. I love my SeaQ and the thickness doesn't bother me at all, considering I have large wrists. I doubt the 1.3mm additional thickness to add the chrono function will be an issue but we'll see. I still think that this and other GO really are a great price, and in most cases can be purchased at a discount. I'm no expert but when I look at the $14k MSRP for this and compare it to other chrono/brands at the same price point I think that GO really stands out as a better option. My humble opinion is that GO is hitting it out of the park on this and other recent releases.

Wow, very gorgeous looking and seems like just about the same size with Rolex 136660 DSSD JC.

Absolutely beautiful dial, but enormous. GO definitely does not follow the pack with respect to trends.

Looks I’ll have to keep wishing for an updated 39mm. Sigh…

Take a weekend trip to Nashville. King’s has recently become an authorized dealer.

I tried it on last week. It's a big watch for sure but much like the non chrono panodate it wears better than you might think. Definitely one to try on first though.

Stunning. Wish it had running seconds and an hour counter subdial for the chrono, but can’t have it all! The big date looks great.
