I had to Google it to see what it was. Upon reading more I was SO happy to see it will have real V12 ICE power and is not some new battery operated thing.

Speaking of Jeeps. Still driving this one, 2005 Unlimited.

Twice in the last month in LA had people at stop lights ask me if it was for sale. I guess if you hang onto something long enough it becomes “special”.

Been abroad the last few weeks and it has been awhile since I have taken this out. What a complete and utter joy, grinding through the italian gated 5 speed, top down is utter bliss. Disconnected from the world and grinning from ear to ear, commands all of my focus and attention especially with zero side nor rear visibility. Hoping to install this tubi race exhaust with test pipes to open the v12 soon, opted for the dual quad tip for a more 90s inspired aesthetic. Contemplating add a second one.

Since then my passion has grown and find that I am in a daily autotrader never ending rabbit hole searching for my next project. I've been fortunate to own many amazing cars over the years, including a Murci SV, AM DBS, Aventador, Viper GTS etc etc

The current fleet is comprised of:
2020 g550 aka ice cream truck - Daily driver, first time they made significant changes in the car since 1979. Incredibly aerodynamic with great mpg :p Thinking of wrapping the brush guard black to match the side trim, absolutely love the dark green jade metallic.
2018 Ferrari 488 - track weapon, lowered with full straight pipe exhaust, an absolute blast to drive and could DD it if need
1959 Mercedes 190sl - 0 to 60 in 15 minutes. Breaks down constantly. Overheats. Brakes more skid to a stop than actually come to a stop. Complete nightmare of a car I am constantly fixing and without question it is my absolute favorite. No better cruising car up the coast. My hope soon is to upgrade to a 1957 300sl roadster.

Thinking of upgrading the 488 but not sure where to go from here, also have been looking at DB4s lately. The addiction grows everyday.

murci sv sold now

Nice cars! However, I would be too afraid to drive a car like your beautiful Mercedes given no headrest. People would die in those days just with low speed rear collisions (re: cervical fractures)

Anniversary gift for the wife…
She had one a little while ago, but when an opportunity came to acquire her dream car (Continental GT), she traded her C8.
I knew she really missed it, so when I found an opportunity to purchase this particular version, I jumped on it.
Although a bit different version, and color…..she loves the C8.R package! I was a bit worried about the color, but after 24 yrs of marriage, I felt fairly confident.
I also knew she’d be happy that hers will be a bit rarer for sure. (Kind of like seeing a 126610 vs 126619 in the wild)

I’m with Nick here. Nice vette.

But personality, the GT is a bucket list car for me. Someday I’ll have a Speed for sure. But I love all of them.

Pics please….

Side note, I think it’s amazing that you both enjoy cars so very much.

That car is stunning. Love the interior. I’m truly in love with the GT. Imo, some of the nicest lines I’ve ever seen.

I might have to go see if I can get myself an allocation.

I’d like to build mine.

The best six banger and the best V12 in the business. What an amazing pair of aces! Both hair raising sounds
