I have a Jubilee bracelet on my DJ 41. Your picture is normal. If you really want us to see if the bracelet is damaged. Take a photo of your DJ while not wearing it, and compare opposite sides. Cheers.

Over a month later and still going over nothing. OP found a great way to waste money. I'm fine as long as he's happy with his expenses. Who am I to tell someone how to spend their money.

You should just sell the watch and get 1 on an Oyster bracelet. Bracelets will stretch over time, jubilee probably quicker than Oyster. Are you going to replace the bracelet every time you notice a little stretch? That'll get expensive real quick.

There is no way the bezel gap was caused by someone wearing it too tightly.

To be fair we haven't met his friend. I would never date his friend's ex-girlfriends.

The only gap in this thread is the invoice for the replacement bracelet.

lol did he seriously get a new bracelet thinking someone's wrist can stretch it from trying it on?

the "issue" you're seeing now is completely normal but i'm not convinced you'll ever be able to enjoy the watch without continuing to micro analyze everything. they're mass produced and no one watch will be 1000% perfect. there was literally nothing noticeably wrong with your watch before you went and blew money on a new bracelet, and the same goes for now after that

WTF, this is a train wreck I cannot look away from.

I am particular about my watches but this is taking it to a new level. How does a band get ruined by having somebody try it on? This is like a car seat getting ruined by having your friend sit in it. These watches are tools made to survive a lot - your watch is no different than when you gave it to him!

In this case the friend would have stretched the seat and creased the leather.

Lord, I couldn’t agree anymore!! Not sure what’s worse- the never ending barrage of questions and pics from the OP or people continuing to answer these repeated questions.

Any datejust jubilee enthusiasts please help!!!
If you ever put on a Rolex and fasten the clasp, resulting in a tight fit, the warranty is automatically voided and the value drops to half.
These aren’t built for that kind of abuse

Wow. And it all started over again on #185.
I am stunned. So fascinated I read it all.
OP, good on you for fixing something that bothered you. LOL. I’ve done worse.
At least you are responsive.

Dammit! Didn't know this thread was still going on. And never thought it would be on the back of my mind when I first wore my DJ after 7 months...

OP, IT'S JUST NORMAL.

Below should put this matter to rest:
