SkyDweller prices finally dipping

Glad to see the prices easing up a bit on the SkyDs. Still waiting on the call from the AD but maybe its a sign of easier times ahead...

You’re seeing a drop in demand, not an increase in production.

Any price drops are simply going from completely insanely bonkers to plain old bonkers.

Price does are only in secondhand, but I also hopes this means less flippers will be on the lists at ADs and more come to those who will really appreciate it!

It appears to be leaning more in this direction but prices are still ridiculous. Six months ago I couldn't think of an adjective to full describe how bonkers the market was, so that's progress of a sort. Patience will pay dividends and somewhat less patience is likely now required.

Drop in demand at that market price. Don't mistake that for a drop in demand at retail. LOL.

I actually hope the entire market crashes to 2017 numbers.

Many if not most reference are only being offered at MSRP or below if you try to trade to a dealer (if they’ll even offer to buy it). Don’t be fooled into thinking the market is “starting” to cool, the front of the train has long since fallen off the cliff, now the rear carriages are beginning to feel the pull, takes time but the entire market will crash spectacularly, demand has died.

The blue Sky D was priced out of all proportion over the price of white or black with the premium a function of fashion. Fashion changes and it eases back.

I guess the OP is referring to the secondary used market.

I'm looking forward to the day when I can walk into a store and buy one out of new inventory with a nice discount.

A large grey dealer who I buy vintage from told me he just sold a mint blue Sky Dweller for 28k. Sounds like a lot of money. Problem is he paid 31k a few months ago. I can tell you he wouldn’t have sold at 28 if he thought prices were coming back anytime soon!!

Yeah, I was referring to the secondary market. Been waiting for quite some time but didn't want to pay double the price! Seeing a few hitting the 20k asking mark is refreshing.

Big premium for the blue face. Trading at 25-26.5k on Moda. Black and white ones are almost 5k less.

That mean 30 31 for blue new retail... It's still a pretty hefty premium

Unworn blue should easily be attainable under 30K.

I wouldn't personally pay that price above retail. I think asking is still around 30k but yes I'm familiar with the chats....

I just checked...you are correct, realistically under 30 for 22 blue even w. Jub complete can be had shy of 30k ..oyster is a couple thousand cheaper....oyster used complete blue about 25 to 26

But it's about a 5k correction, used to be 29k to 35k, and it seems it's been this way for about a month...

asking for 30k will not move. even at 27k is still a hard sell. no takers. not even a bump on the post.

There’s a new jubilee sky d blue at 27 and that thing won’t sell for anything close to that, it’ll be a bump train until suddenly “sold”.
