Thanks Atomic! Strap received!

I received the strap w/ deployment this afternoon. I love it! Here's a few pics.

So that's where the EXP strap went, huh, John!

Looks good on the GMT, Jeff. Wear it well.

Looks great Jeff! Nice doing business with you.

BTW, it looks like you may have the second 'floating keeper' on the strap. You may want to remove it for comfort's sake. I never wore it on the strap. Just cleans up the look nicely.

I disagree about the floating keeper, John. I find it keeps the end of the strap from flapping and catching on things. I don't find it uncomfortable at all.

I noticed the floating keeper last night after I took the pics, but I didn't think of removing it. There's not enough strap hanging out to need it, so I think I'll remove it. This morning I showed the strap to a co-worker who gives me a hard time for wearing NATO straps. He gave it a and said that this looks MUCH better. Thanks again, Atomic!

Ed, you must have pencil wrists to have that much strap left over.

On the strap in question, there isn't enough left over to necessitate the additional keeper. I also remove the floating keeper from all my panny straps... there isn't enough 'tail' left over to need one.

But Jeff... really... doens't the strap drastically change the look and feel of the watch? Also, with it on the strap you'll notice you don't flick your wrist to reposition the watch as you would with the bracelet on it. The strap keeps it in place.

Even the amount of strap left after the buckle on Jeff's strap is more than I like. That's about 1 1/2 in. of excess strap hanging. That's more than I like to have hanging out.

It also gives the watch a more stealthy look, which I like. It really tones down the "bling" factor.

Please, the mental picture of you 'hanging out' is too much to bear.

Now I'm going to have to stick needles in my eyes.

Besides... an inch and a half??? After the sewn-in keeper there's only about one centimeter of tail. No need for a keeper for that little bit.

Ah, one more example of taking a perfectly normal G rated thread and turning it into an X-rating. Can't we have one f@#$ing thread around here that doesn't bring Paulie and his "thing" into it.

Agreed. It completely changed the look of my ExpII and was very stealthy.

The ExpII is the stealthiest of the Rolex line up... putting a strap on it makes it invisible to radar.
