Snowflake vs New Limited Edition SBGA387

I saw both of them next to each other. Both were really nice but I still think I like the Snowflake better. I was expecting the limited edition to have a little better dial in person. It looked better in their pictures. The limited edition is not a titanium case so a lot heavier than Snowflake. Wonder if any one has checked out the Limited Edition yet?

Snowflake vs New Limited Edition SBGA387

I've handled both in person and while I think the 387 is spectacular, I would prefer looking at a white background over a baby blue on a daily basis. If the LE had a white background I might have gone for that instead...

Snowflake, all day, every day. I like the 387, but I think it will become dated. I think the Snowflake will remain a GS icon for a long time to come.

Snowflake all day. Must confess, not a baby blue fan. But the artwork on the LE is amazing, just would not want that color.

I tried on the 387 and loved the case, size & fit. However I’ll stick with my Snowflake, that dial on the LE is just too weird for me.

i like the slightly higher contrast of the blue dial, but between the two, I’d still take the snowflake.

I’d love a similarly textured charcoal colored dial, something like Take-sumi.

Snowflake vs New Limited Edition SBGA387

While I adore the snowflake, the 387 housed in a 99GS blocked case wins the vote for me. For that case, switching to a leather strap is visually enticing. Plus I think it’s best to see the kirazuri dial in person, it’s awesome.

I may get rid of the snowflake for this LE piece.
Dated? I don’t know how it can be for the 387.

The tone of the blue on the LE is a little questionable but from afar the texture of the dial is so apparent.

Been hunting a nice blue dial GS. If i didnt have a snowflake, i would have seriously considered getting this blue LE.

So my hunt for a blue dial GS is still on.

I handled one today in Orlando as I'm back in Fla monday night, of course the AD in Canada did not have one Sunday when Michelle bought her snowflake. Of course the blue is LE in the US to 500 and something pieces, this one was 300 something. He also had a snowflake and just picked up the GS line. Well, I didn't really care for the blue that much, to me the white is so much nicer. The blue is steel, the white, ti. What was really nice is the GMT, the straps are very nice, the cases are amazing. Got some very nice pics of the dials under a loop on my phone, the GMT dials are amazing, lots of little g and s. Amazing watches really. I'm proud that my wife knows enough about watches that it made sense to her to buy one.

The dial on the SBGA387 is definitely something else in person as opposed to the pics. I like this a lot more than the Snowflake. Personally I'm not a fan of white dials no matter how cool the texture of the Snowflake is.
